Our Milestones:
Based on the given specifications, we prepared the following milestones for our project -
1.
Understanding the project requirements and deliverables and setting milestones.
To be completed by : 25/08/2006
2. Familiarizing ourselves with with 'Wiki' and Matlab image processing tools.
To be completed by : 25/08/2006
3. Research on various barcode standards and choosing an appropriate standard for our project.
To be completed by : 28/08/2006
4. Scan and read a clean and normal barcode image using matlab.
To be completed by : 18/09/2006
5. Scan and read a rotated barcode image.
To be completed by : 3/10/2006
6. Find and implement image processing techniques to account for imperfections such as - Noise,Distortions and Bluriness.
To be completed by : 20/10/2006
7. Prepare the final version of the code which is due on 1/11/2006.
To be completed by : 28/10/2006
8. Prepare final version of the documentation which is due on 8/11/2006
To be completed by : 4/10/2006
