Second meeting Task break down

Tasks assigned to me:

             -Research on RFID tagged object behaviour and function.
             -Wiki content creation.
             -CRC cards
             -User interface design sketch 

To Ashok:

      -Essential use cases 
      -Use case digram

To Nael:

Research on

      - Class design
      - sequence digram 
 
      - Class interaction
      
      - GuI design and implementation 
      


My Task status: -Wiki topic creation and log book formation completed

-CRC cards relation started but stacked with minor problem as we haven't decided which classes need to be included and which need to be removed.

-Initial sketch design completed

Third Meeting, 4th September

Mainly focused on discussion

- Report on the level of work done

- How our task is progressing

- Difficulties encountered on our work

- we are unable to decide on our final classes

- We decided to seek advice form our instructor


Fourth meeting, Tuesday 11th of September 2007

-Based on our instructor feed back,our final classes issue have been resolved

- CRC card have been updated and posted on wiki

-Initial design sketch version 2 uploaded to wiki

-Task breakdown for initial Design Milestone of the Team Project

Girma: Analysis of problem domain and derivation of scope and functionality of software system.

Ashoka: Set of usage scenarios and use cases.

Neal : Class diagram and interaction and Sequence diagrams for key scenarios/use cases of interest.

Girma : Set of CRC cards describing purpose of class, its responsibilities and collaborations.

AShoka: System interaction User Interface design sketches

Neal: Design assumptions and decisions.

Fifth meeting, Tuesday 19th of September 2007

-Individual slides have been collected by the group

- We discussed about the slide content and any improvement

- We put individual slides in to one slide presentation

- Ready for presentation

Meeting six , Tuesday 25th September

 Task breakdown for coding

Girma : Item class and savedList classes

Nael : GUI and Control classes

Ashok : Simulate and intermediate classes

 Wednesday 26th September @ 2PM 

- I have stared refreshing java

-Stared coding in java for Item and Saved List classes

Thur 27th September @ 3Pm during tutorial 

- Group discussion on coding and difficulties arises

- Constructive feed back on our techniques of coding

 9th of October 

-Demonstration of my coding to my group members

-Feed back form group members

- give my feed back about their coding

- We agreed, still there are a lot to do to meet requirement

-We agreed to see Lian on LDC about our progress

10 Oct 2007 2-3pm

- I have finished my coding on item and saved list classes

-e-mail it to Nael so that he can put it together in one project


11 Oct 2007 @ 2-3pm

-Discussed on Neal’s and AShok’s Control class and simulate

class respectively and how it should be integrate with the item

and saved list classes.

-Help Nael to put every thing together and check compilation

15 Oct 2007 @ 5pm

-Consultation with Lian on LDC 1 - We have got important constrictive feed back form her on how

to improve our GUI, how to generate random number, how to change

strings in to numbers

- Based on her feedback we are motivated to work hard and achieve the

specification

21 Oct 2007 @ 10Am 

-I discussed over the phone on how we are going to work to improve

our GUI and the whole classes and we noted that any change made

should e-mailed with appropriate explanation.

-I have fix the delete button as it wasn’t working before and send

the zipped program file to Nael with a documentation of change made.

-Nael fix the save button functionalities and I tested it

23 October 2007 @ 2PM 


-we have tried to have a beta realise,

-We worked fixing the bugs; especially the list button couldn’t work.

-We have nearly finished putting all together, even though the list

button is not working

-We decided to see Lian to get some feedback before our oral presentation

28 October @11AM

- I successfully completed unit testing for Item and Saved List classes

29 October 2007 @ 12PM 


-We got some contractive feed back form Lian

1 November 2007 @ 10AM 

-Final improvement done on every aspect

-Improve our test cases

-Submitted our program code and test cases

-Ready for presentation
